Painting with casein
I had just three days to complete this mural in the Hamptons. I worked with home made casein binder, and primed my wall with it. I then worked my layers up. The Ural needs to dry at least a a week before becoming completely water resistant.

Painting on wooden floors
My client wished to replicate a design that existed prior to the renovation of the floors. I drew it on tracing paper and transferred it on the floor. I then painted the floor with an acrylic paint quality designed for wooden flooring.
Painting with lime
To create this mural, I started with two layer of lime wash on a primed wall. I had found the images from a scene of the Almodovar movie “All about my mother” and projected them one by one on the wall, to place its elements. I sprayed the wall before painting the floral design on the couch. I traced the designs for the wallpaper. It’s a quick way to replicate a repetitive pattern on a wall.
Making a textured wall with lime plaster
I had a big project: create lime plaster textured walls for an entire living space, including the fire place. It took about two weeks. The plaster is applied in sections so that they can be combed as the plaster is still wet.
Making a bas relief with lime plaster
First, there are two layer of lime plaster to apply on the primed wall. Then, the bas relief shapes are taped on the wall, and built in layers, either 3 or 4 depending on thickness desired.n A lime wash was applied at the end, to add contrast in some areas.
Painting with acrylic glaze
I had three days to complete this mural from old prints I would stick on the wall. I didn’t use a projector. The transparency of the glaze I added to my acrylic colours helped build the layers and give the landscape its depth.
